the rank of firefighter after passing the Ohio State

Communications Grant Awarded
We're
excited to announce that we have been awarded a grant
from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security The grant
provided new portable 2-way radios with external microphones and extra batteries.
The grant is part is part of the DHS interoperability
program. Chief Carl Kleinman and Deputy Chief Roger Crank
have already received the radios from the Lawrence County EMA building
on August 5, 2008. All of our members are now fully
equipped with 2-way radios which will allow for more
effective communications during a response and on
emergency scenes.
We would like to thank the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Lawrence County EMA and LEPC, Mike Boster, and a special thanks to Tracy Vititoe (who coordinated this grant effort). |
