Captain Gil LeBlanc is an Ohio State Certified Fire Inspector and has been our fire prevention officer since 1999. He supervises all building inspections in the southern portion of Fayette Township and works closely with the Ohio State Fire Marshal's office. If you need a building inspection you can call us at (740) 894-5300 or email Captain LeBlanc at prevention@fayettefire.org.

The fire prevention officer also works closely with the staff at the Burlington Elementary School and the Sybene head start to teach children what to do in the event of a fire or other emergency. Member's from our department visit the schools every year to demonstrate what to do in a house fire, stop drop and roll, how and when to call 9-1-1 and other important skills.
