12/19/08 UPDATE: Now you can listen to our online scanner feed from your mobile device! To find out how click here and follow the instructions. In some cases you may have to purchase special software and of course you will be responsible for any data charges you incur from your service provider (it's still really cool though). You can listen to other emergencies all over America at www.scanamerica.us (on your desktop) or http://mobile.scanamerica.us on your mobile device.

We're proud to now offer you a way to monitor our our emergency radio frequencies online! This is a great tool for you if you live in Fayette Township and hear us responding to a run. All you'll need to do is log on to www.fayettefire.org, click on the scanner on the home page and you'll be up to date on what's going on in your community. Then remember to check back in a few days to see pictures from the run in our photo gallery.

If you missed something you can visit the scanner archive to tune in whether it was 10 minuets or 30 days ago. Finally, if there is nothing broadcasting on either of the scanned frequencies the online feed will be silent, don't worry it's not broken.

Enjoy,
Assistant Chief James Woda
