Truck 2-4 was
received from Ohio
Division of
Forestry's
Federal Excess
Personal
Property
program. The
truck has gone
under several
hours of work
from our members
to bring the
truck online.
This truck
has been
outfitted with a
mobile cascade
unit which
allows us to
fill bottles for
our breathing
apparatus on
scene saving
time. The
funding for the
cascade system
was provided
through the U.S.
Department of
Homeland
Security's
Assistance to
Firefighters
Grant Program.
Engine 2-5,
nicknamed
"Brutus" because
of it's size and
in honor of the
mascot of the
Ohio State

2006 Smeal on a
custom Spartan

truck was
purchased new in
2007. Engine 2-5

Engine is a 1989
E-One on a Ford
Chassis. It was
purchased in
1989 as a demo
truck. In 2007
it was replaced
by Engine 2-5 as
the first due
north of 52.
Because 2-6 is
still a solid
truck we decided
to keep it in
station instead
of selling it
off. Most
equipment has
been removed
from this truck
but when other
trucks are out
of service 2-6
is restocked and
placed in
service.
Reserve Engine

in service at

as to commercial

given a license
plate that
reads, "No Rest

after responding
to nine working
